SMS Terms.

If you give us your phone number on the inquiry form and check the box, we may text you about your project. These are the terms covering what we send, how often, and how to stop. Short version: we only text when there's something useful to say, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

02 · MessagesWhat we'll text you.

Only things related to your stone project. Examples:

  • Confirmation that your inquiry was received and your quote is on the way.
  • Scheduling — proposed install dates, arrival windows, day-of "we're 15 minutes out."
  • Follow-up on a quote you haven't responded to (no more than two reminders, ever).
  • Care and warranty — quick notes if there's a product update or recall that affects your install.
  • Replies to questions you've asked us by text.

We will never send you marketing blasts, promotional offers from other companies, surveys, or sales campaigns. If we have something new to share publicly — a new finish, a new service area — we'll put it on the website. We won't text you about it.

03 · FrequencyHow often.

Most clients receive between 1 and 5 messages over the lifetime of a project — one to confirm the inquiry, a couple to schedule, one on install day. After the work is complete we typically stop texting unless you reach out, or unless there's a warranty issue.

04 · KeywordsHow to stop or get help.

You can opt out at any time, for any reason, with no questions asked. The keywords below work on every SMS we send. They're not case-sensitive.

STOP
Opt out completely. You'll get a single confirmation reply and then no more texts from this number. Other words that work: UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.
HELP
Reply HELP and you'll receive a message with our name, phone, email, and a link to this page so you can get assistance.
START
If you've opted out and want back in, reply START. You can also re-subscribe by submitting a new inquiry form with the consent box checked.
INFO
Reply INFO for a short description of the SMS program and a link back to these terms.

If a keyword reply isn't working for any reason — wrong number, technical hiccup — just email sales@mtsurfaceprotectors.com with "stop SMS" and your phone number. We'll remove you manually within one business day.

05 · ExamplesWhat our texts actually look like.

So there's no surprise about tone, format, or branding:

Short. Useful. From a human. That's the standard.

06 · CostsWhat it costs you.

M&T does not charge for SMS. However, standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply, depending on your plan. We don't have insight into your plan — check with your carrier if you're unsure.

07 · CarriersCarriers & delivery.

SMS delivery is best-effort. Most major US carriers are supported. We can't guarantee delivery if your carrier blocks the message, your number is invalid, or your phone is off. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

08 · PrivacyYour number & your privacy.

We treat your phone number the same way we treat the rest of your inquiry data — see the Privacy Policy for the full account. The short version: we never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing, ever. We only share it with the service providers we need to run the business (e.g. our SMS provider), and only what's needed to send a message.

09 · EligibilityWho can opt in.

You must be at least 18 years old to consent to receive SMS from us, and you must be the account holder (or have permission from the account holder) for the phone number you provide.

10 · ChangesIf these terms change.

We may update these terms — for example, if a new regulation changes what we have to disclose. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers before they take effect.
